For communicators looking to the future it is time to re-evaluate their strategies

As the future transitions perpetually into the present, communications professionals must deal with the changes in technological platforms and consumer expectations as they aim to uphold their organisations’ reputations.

In a wide-ranging presentation at the European Communication Summit 2015, international futurist Tony Bosma shared his views on the role of new technology in our fast-changing society, the future of communications and how it will affect organisations and institutions, as well as how communicators can work towards closing the gap between what their company says and what it does.

This interview was filmed at the European Communication Summit, held in Brussels on June 25 and 26 2015. The Summit is the largest gathering of in-house communication professionals in Europe, and is organised by the European Association of Communication Directors (EACD: www.eacd-online.eu) and Communication Director magazine (www.communication-director.com).
